It is not unusual for one to believe, because times were simpler, that we, as a community and as individuals, would think more simply, too. Thankfully, for our Island citizens, this belief is far from true.
Fred C. Lynam was born January 23, 1861 at the family’s homestead located on Schooner Head to Mr. and Mrs. John Lynam in Eden (now known as Bar Harbor). Fred had a younger brother, Frank, four years his junior, who later settled in Minnesota, married, had three children and became a physician. |
